London Golf Show - Review
April 30th, 2008 | GEL GolfThank you to the hundreds of people who came to see GEL Golf over the weekend at Excel and we trust they all had a great time and that the children and adults enjoyed the free caps, the biscuits and even Claire’s truffles!
It was great to be there on the Friday, doing interviews and photographs. It was especially pleasing to see the response of the putters. The putting green was constantly busy… There was plenty of buzz as Lee Westwood opened the Show. Also congratulations to his stable mate and close friend Darren Clarke who finished 1st over the weekend in the BMW Asian Open at Shanghai. Robert-Jan Derksen finished second. It was great to see the two players going head to head over the last round.
Congratulations to the two daily winners Gregor Macintosh (Friday) and George Crow (Sunday) who both won new Paul Hurrion Signature Range putters and Saturday’s winner George Cummings, who won a putter and a private lesson with myself after a magnificent 21 continuous putts! (not sure how much work will be needed here!)
Look out for details of how the new range of putters on the new GEL Golf (UK) web-site in the coming months. Congratulations to Mrs L Andrews of Highgate who won a ladies Topaz putter in our prize draw.
Also keep a look out for our new GEL newsletter “In The Know”, and the web-site where we will post any pictures of you and any GEL putter out and about. The most unusual photo every month will win a prize. More people now “BELIEVE IN THE ROLL”. When will you join them “IN THE KNOW”?
